What a simple tweet can do with ones heartbeat is incredible. XDA Recognized Developer Cotulla tweeted a link to a Youtube video showing what appears to be an HTC HD7 running Windows Mobile. It seems to be some kind of emulator which runs Windows Mobile 6.1 on top of Windows Phone 7. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 was the first device in the popular XPERIA line. Launched in 2008 as a Windows Mobile 6.1 slider with a 3.2 megapixel camera and a 3 inch screen, the X1 brought with it a shift in Sony Ericsson design. The X1 and it’s aptly named Windows Mobile 6.5 sibling, the XPERIA X2, are the only handsets in the XPERIA line that didn’t ship with Android. Hopeful future owners of the HTC Titan II , you are only one month a and a few days for getting it if you are on AT&T. To recap, this phone is sporting:
- Single-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2
- A 16 Megapixels camera that is curiously only capable of shooting in 720p
- Compatible 4G LTE -the first Windows Phone to benefit from this technology
Strangely, for such a massive 4.7 ” screen, the resolution is still standard WVGA (800 x 480)

Long after Microsoft themselves decided to jump ship from Windows Mobile to its successor Windows Phone, the developers on our lovely forums continue the tradition of making the most out of our devices, no matter what vintage the OS may be from. All good things must eventually come to an end and for owners of Windows Mobile phones, this is something that has happened to them recently.
The popular BattClock app had an update to 3.8.2 a few days ago and that’s when the app maker, who is XDA Recognized Developer ZuinigeRijder announced that it would be the app’s final version and that development will be stopped.

Prospective Windows Phone 7 developers don’t have the vast options available to Android users yet in terms of kitchens, but the wheels are turning to get more people involved in Windows Phone 7 development. XDA Recognized Developer -=Barin=- has developed a kitchen that will, as he says:

It’s hard to believe just how much the smartphone space has changed since that phone, the HTC HD2, was released in November 2009, two years ago. It was one of the last Windows Mobile devices, but it eventually got ports for both Android and Windows Phone 7.
